One City

Arcahaie is a commune in the in the west department of Haiti 80 kilometers (50 miles) outside of the national capital Port-Au-Prince. The city is occupied by a population of  130,306 inhabitants in addition to a very vibrant, hard-working people residing in surrounding towns.

One Team

Arcahaie FC is a professional soccer football club based in the city of Arcahaie, Haiti.  The football team has seen tremendous success over the past 3 seasons in the Haitian national professional league.

The team manage to reach the national championship game where they were second runner up after fighting through 3 competitive matches.  The team’s motto of “one City, one team and one flag” truly captures their fighting spirit in the way they play and the pride the city of Arcahaie is fueled by.  The team president Izolan and strong committee is the reason for the team’s strong success in a very short period.

Our Flag

The first Haitian flag was adopted on 18 May 1803 by revolutionary leader Jean-Jacques Dessalines, on the last day of the Congress of Arcahaie.  Arcahaie is about 80 kilometres (50 mi) north of Port-Au-Prince.

The Haitian flag was created by taking a French tricolor and ripping out the white center. The remaining Blue and Red portions were sawn together by Catherine Flon who is widely recognized as one of the earlier symbol of Haitian Liberty.
